Our policies

Cancellation Policy: Guests can cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 2 days before arrival. 

Credit Card: A credit guarantee is required at the time of booking. Please note that the Lazy Lizard Motor Inn will process the full accommodation charge onto your nominated credit card, 24 hours prior to arrival. The Lazy Lizard Motor Inn reserves the right to cancel bookings made on a declined credit card. All non-refundable, pre paid rates will be charged upon booking. 

Child policies: Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 1 year old can stay for free. Cots: Children up to and including 1 year old stay for AUD 20.00 per person per stay when using an available cot. Extra beds: No extra beds are available.

Check-in and check-out time: Check-in from 14:00 to 00:00, Check-out by 10:00AM. If guests anticipate arriving after 6.00pm, they will need to telephone us on the day of arrival to arrange their check-in.

Age limit: Minimum check in age: 21. Maximum age: No age limit

SMOKING POLICY: We are a strictly NON SMOKING Hotel. Violating our smoking-free principle will result with a charge of $200.00. To accommodate our guests who do smoke, we have a designated smoking area by the BBQ and ashtrays outside the parking area. Smoking is not permitted inside the units or on the patios. 

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. 

NO PARTY AND NO EXCESSIVE NOISE* POLICY:

This strictly enforced policy is designed to ensure all guests at the Lazy Lizard Motor Inn enjoy their stay. With all of the units in close proximity, noise carries and can disrupt the relaxing holiday experience of other guests. For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, please ensure that noise and/or music levels are kept to a reasonable level at all times. Parties of any description are NOT permitted. No hen or stag parties, no schoolies.

We reserve the right to expel any guest/invitee that disrupts the enjoyment of other guests through noise or behaviour that causes damage to the unit or building. No refund of any tariff paid will be provided.

We ask that you contact reception should you experience discomfort caused by the unreasonable noise created by other guests. Our No Party and No Excessive Noise policy will be strictly enforced.

*Definition of Noise: If other people can hear your music, TV and/or voices outside your unit after 10:00pm, then it is noise.

Visiting Guests

The number of non paying guests/invitees is limited to 2 per unit and they must leave before 8pm.

Conditions of Bookings
Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the unit or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest.

  1. Charges must be paid by cash or credit card before occupancy commences unless special prior arrangements have been made.
  2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt.
  3. The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any Guest together with all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the unit and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any Guest.
  4. The unit must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
  5. Guests must only park cars in the undercover areas.
  6. Only the number of people shown on the receipt may stay in the unit overnight.
  7. No animals or pets are to be brought onto the complex.
  8. Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager nor the unit owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which a Guest may sustain while on the complex.
  9. The by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction of the Manager must be complied with. The unit must be vacated if after receiving a warning, any Guest fails to comply.
  10. There is no refund for early departure.
  11. The Manager may inspect the unit at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
  12. The Manager and the unit owner are not responsible for any misdescription of the unit.
  13. In the event of the Guest desiring to cancel the booking, a refund of the deposit, less an administrative fee, will only be made if more than 28 days notice is given in high season or 14 days notice at other times.
  14. The Guest authorises the manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
  15. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the unit. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests property.
